So if you want an award-winning Halloween costume this year, recreate this Olivia look with a lilac dress, preferably one that incorporates lace and a corset-style top like this Loba mini dress. Add long gloves and fishnet tights, which are seen in a lot of Olivia’s best ‘fits. Finish the VMA-inspired costume with butterfly hair clips and jewellery, not forgetting your award – duh, you’ve totally earned it.

Find a silver maxi dress – I love this sheer one on ASOS – some embellished accessories and a nude lip, and you’re ready for your red carpet moment. Hosting a Halloween party this year?
