The crowd at Charli XCX’s Los Angeles show got a big surprise when Addison Rae hopped onstage to perform the Von Dutch remix — and Rae dressed the brat part in an outfit that could have been worn by Britney Spears circa 2002, complete with ultra low-rise pants and a personalised thong.
Addison Rae, who has worked with Charli XCX in the past, donned low-rise pinstripe pants that laced up the sides and in the front and a cropped black top for the show. Under the ‘00s-inspired look, she wore a bright pink balconette bra with black lace and rhinestone details, plus a black thong with a swirly capital “A” written in pink rhinestones, all styled by Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo.
As if the song Von Dutch wasn’t 2000s enough, we’ve also got style hallmarks like super low-rise pants and glittery undies. Seriously, are we on TRL?

Rae’s friends and followers were loving the show-stopping moment. “OMFGGGGG,” wrote fellow It girl Julia Fox. “Obsessed,” commented Hailey Bieber. “My idols,” wrote Barbie Ferreira. Makeup artist legend Pat McGrath left a handful of fire emojis — our thoughts exactly.
Rae and Charli aren’t just frequent collaborators; they’re also friends. Rae appears on the remix of the song, complete with a now-iconic scream, and Charli pops up on Rae’s song 2 die 4 from her recent EP. “You are one of the most inspiring, contagious, beautiful, magnetic people I know. I am so thankful for you,” Rae wrote of Charli on Instagram. “You’ve been unbelievably generous and humble and kind, even when you have no reason to be. You are truly everythingggggggg.”
Rae had another surprise in store on her Instagram post. After the concert pics and shot of her undies, she shared a clip of new music, complete with a video of herself walking at the bottom of a swimming pool in nothing but high heels and a minuscule black thong bikini. Ultimate brat energy, indeed.
