It’s probably not a good idea to cross Jenny from the block. Jennifer Lopez may be willing to share husband Ben Affleck’s thirst traps online, but that’s her marking her territory, not putting him on the market, as she made clear when she told a thirsty Affleck fan to “back up, bitch.”
Before anyone even goes there, she’s being funny and everything is fine.
In the short video, which you can watch here, Affleck helps his wife into the passenger side of their large black SUV, then walks to the other side, where he encounters a car driving past. One of the women in the car spots him and recognises him, calls out, “Wooo… I love you!” Affleck doesn’t seem to react, but as the car drives away, Lopez snaps, “Back up, bitch.” She immediately smiles. It’s all just ribbing!
Listen, if you live in Los Angeles, micro-interactions with celebrities are just part of the deal, and you don’t “woo” at Ben Affleck unless you’re willing to get a “back up” from Jennifer Lopez.
Ben and Jen seem to be in a good place and have been photographed hitting the town for date nights many, many times in the last few months. Recently they walked the red carpet at the 2023 LACMA Art+Film Gala sponsored by Gucci looking… like, so gorgeous. Really, really great.
Sadly, not every relationship in Affleck’s life is as strong. Despite being weirdly charming in a recent commercial for his beloved Dunkin’ — he and Ice Spice make quite the comedy duo —resurfaced photos have fans shocked at his apparent disloyalty. Yes, once upon a time — in 2014, to be exact — Ben Affleck was caught holding… Starbucks. And the internet is up in arms.
Dunkin’ Donuts
You know what needs to happen next, right? Bennifer exits a Dunkin, each holding a drink. Lopez gets into the car as Affleck goes to the other side, only to encounter the Starbucks Siren (the mermaid on the logo) in a convertible, looking him up and down. Then Lopez swoops in with “BACK UP, BITCH.” Cut to the Dunkin logo. Perfect commercial. You’re welcome!
