Pair this alongside the styling inspiration served up by Isabel Marant’s SS23 runway show – and by all manner of influencers at Copenhagen, London and Milan’s Fashion Weeks (Amelie Stanescu, we’re looking at you) – and you’ll likely realise that silver trousers trend has a surprising amount of longevity. Much to my boyfriend’s dismay, I am totally on board.
Silver, more generally, cemented itself as one of the biggest colour trends on the SS23 runways – dominating the spring collections at Gucci, Versace and Chanel. Gucci’s knotted sleeve midi dress, paired with white boots, was one of our most-loved looks of the season – but silver mini skirts and accessories were equally big news.
