Milk Makeup may be known for their iconic Hydro Grip Primer or their dinky and adorable Sculpt Sticks with an epic shade range, but now they’re taping into the brow game with the Kush Brow Lamination Gel. As the name suggests this brow product promises to give you the coveted laminated brow look but without the hassle of an in-salon treatment, or simply the fuss and faff.

Much like many Milk Makeup products, this brow gel sits in the Kush family range, as it’s powered by their signature hemp-derived cannabis seed oil, for ultimate nourishment and conditioning benefits as well as that hold and definition we expect from any good brow gel. With this gel, you can effortlessly sculpt and define your brows, achieving a chic brushed-up, laminated finish and you’re promised brows that actually stay in place for up to eight hours.

Even though the product runs clear, the magic for this lamination-like brow gel lies in its density boosting complex, which is meticulously crafted to ensure your brows actually look the part. All you need to do is gently but firmly glide the bristles of the product across your brows making sure the gel coats every strand it passes by and then you’re left with a feathered off-duty model makeup look in an instant.

It was only right we put the gel to the test so you won’t have to (just in case it’s not one for you). Here are five GLAMOUR staffers honest thoughts.

I want to get my brows laminated so bad. Mostly because I want those IG baddie brows – you know, the supermood Bella Hadid brows. It frames the face beautifully and makes you look put together in an instant. I don’t love how my brow hairs feel after getting them laminated though, and it costs money – cozzy livs… I was excited to try this Milk Kush Brow lamination gel as it’s supposed to mimic the effect of the treatment without the price tag or effort.

On first impressions I like the wand, its a good size and the bristles are shaped like the The Gherkin building in London, so that they can effectively coat every brow hair with very few strokes. Full marks for an invisible finish, specially because I applied it straight after makeup. No white cast or product build up, which many brow gels with strong hold cannot deliver. Did it hold my brows in place like Gorilla Glue? No. But did it make them look laminated for quite sometime – absolutely.
