Jennifer Garner went makeup-free on instagram, and fans can’t stop gushing

Can Jennifer Garner get any cuter? All signs point to “no,” especially after her adorable makeup-free moment on Instagram. The actor walked followers through her air-dry hair routine without a stitch of makeup and fans could not stop gushing over her look, not to mention the final result.

Garner partnered with hair care brand Virtue Labs for her IG video, starting out fresh out of the shower to talk about her love for the Purifying Leave-In Conditioner, £30 and 6-in-1 Styler, £34. At first, she appears in a monogrammed “JG” bathrobe, her hair wet and her skin looking glowy sans any makeup whatsoever.

She spritzes the conditioner into her chin-grazing bob, then applies the 6-in-1 Styler and gently scrunches it into her mid-lengths and ends to create movement and texture. When she returns, her hair has dried in the gentlest soft waves and she’s dressed in a crisp button-down shirt and jeans, but she’s still makeup-free. Honestly, if I looked like that, I wouldn’t wear makeup either … like, ever.

Fans ate up every second of the video, which feels a lot like your good friend enthusing over a product that they now can’t live without. They flooded her comments with praise, saying she looked “naturally beautiful” sans makeup and with wet hair. (And she absolutely does.) The star has never worn a ton of makeup; since her earliest days in Hollywood, she’s been synonymous with a fresh-faced, sweet and simple look, and it’s one she’s stuck with for decades.

However, for the May 2023 cover of Allure, the actor channeled her Alias character Sydney in a bunch of fun, bright-coloured wigs, including a copper red wet-look wavy bob and a bright blonde bowl cut. Jennifer Garner has the ability to make pretty much anything look great thanks to her natural charm, and I’m officially jealous. Jen, can you share your skin secrets next, please?
