Dads get a bad rap, but many of us are lucky to know fathers who show up day in and day out — providing, encouraging, and defying machismo, all while never asking for anything in return. Father’s Day is a chance to honor the men who raised us and the men we know who are raising others right. It’s to celebrate the dads who cheer on their children and who remind us (sometimes with a sigh and a side-eye) that we can do anything.
