Heidi Klum is the undisputed queen of Halloween, no ifs or buts! I mean, with the spooky holiday season nearly upon us, we know for sure that taking some terrifying inspo from the supermodel wouldn’t go amiss.
While some of us might choose to make our Halloween costumes a bit, you know, sexy, for former supermodel Heidi Klum, it’s all about being as weird and terrifying as possible, and we are here for it! She’s been throwing an annual Halloween bash for over two decades now, and, year after year, her attempts at fancy dress get more and more surprising and creative. Needless to say, she has always had a team of Oscar-winning make-up artists and prosthetics on standby to create something completely jaw-dropping.
In 2000, for her first-ever Halloween bash, Heidi dressed as a dominatrix, and since then, she’s upped the ante and created so much hype around her costume each year that the day should probably be renamed in her honour. As avid Halloween fans will remember, one outfit that had everyone talking was her 2011 offering: a human body, only without the skin (obviously). In 2013, she dressed as an extremely convincing grandma, and in 2014, she rocked up as the most terrifying butterfly we’ve ever seen.
We were positively obsessed with 2018’s drastic look when she used prosthetics to transform herself into Fiona from Shrek – and pulled the look off with aplomb.
