Thankfully, I’ve asked the experts (a host of first-time mums) to share what they think are suitable gifts for mums to receive on their inaugural Mother’s Day. Nope, we’re not talking baby gifts, but rather treats for the superhuman that’s raising your new tiny bestie.
Collectively, they agreed there are two routes you can go down: practical or sentimental. For the former, suggestions included dressing gowns they can wear seven days a week, essential beauty for a spot of speedy self-care and sleep masks to help them get some shut eye at any time of day. And for the latter, personalised Mother’s Day gifts including birthstone-adorned jewellery, a DIY baby handprint kit and memory books were all praised, too.
